Gateway
to International I/O Graduate Study
Below is a list of universities where one can study I/O psychology. This is not an exhaustive list, but contains those places I've been able to find that mention I/O psychology on their website (and not everyone with I/O mentions it on their site). Most are in psychology departments, but I might have missed some that are in other places in their universities. Most of these sites are entirely or mostly in English, but some are not.
Keep in mind that in some countries, like the U.S., graduate study is done in formal programs. In other places, particularly in Europe, graduate study is done differently, especially at the Ph.D. level. In such places a Ph.D. requires mainly a dissertation done under the direction of a professor in the field. In those cases what is listed here is not a university with a formal program but rather a university known to produce Ph.D.s in I/O. In other words this is a place with an active I/O faculty member/s who supervises doctoral students. Also things at universities can change quickly, and I/O places come and go.
Also keep in mind that terminology differs. It is industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology in the U.S., but in other countries it might be called occupational psychology (e.g., Australia and Britain), organizational psychology, labor psychology (Russia), or work psychology, among others.
