Void fills are a vital part of maintaining sewage systems, if ignored, consequences ranging from a blockage to sinkholes can occur. To prevent this, material is shot in to the crack filling the void left from the dirt that fell through. Maintenance can be hampered if not enough material is shot through the crack. Calculating the volume of the void of revolution inspectors can ensure proper maintenance of sewer pipes.
