USING CALCULUS MODELS TO PREDICT THE CONSEQUENCES OF INFECTIOUS VIRAL DISEASE

by Polina Trotsenko

Submitted : Spring 2022

To date, the COVID-19 is known to the whole world, which has led to global problems of humanity. To analyze the risks and virus content, scientists use a modified mathematical model PSEIRD(S). This model is divided into seven labeled compartments (see Appendix) where people could move between them. Modifications are used to account for vaccination and exclude infectious pathways. This project describes and reveals the features of mathematical model PSEIRD(S) and what consequences can be predicted and prevented.
