Creating A Computer Graphics Engine Capable of Rendering Dynamic Lighting and Physics Scenarios

by Ryan Latour

Submitted : Spring 2021

The focus of this project is on the basic framework for creating a computer graphics engine capable of rendering realistic dynamic lighting. The calculus-based algorithms that achieve this effect are discussed. This work could be used to improve the user experience when interacting with visual models in real-time, whether through videogames, film, learning tools, etc. The methods used to facilitate real-time rendering are discussed.
