Surface Area of Rocket Body

by Suzannah McWilliams

Submitted : Spring 2021

This projects makes use of calculus in order to find the surface area of a rocket body in order to minimize costs and to not waste materials. The eqaution of the rocket's curve was used with integration in order to execute this. The data showed that roughly 12,600 square feet of material was needed to cover the rocket body, with a small amount of room for error.
