We calculated the theoretical genotypes and phenotypes of California Poppies and determined the number of different phenotype combinations using the fundamental principles of counting. We found that out of 16 individual genotypes, there are six different phenotypes expressed. Additionally, using the rule of multiplication we determined the probability of each phenotype combination.
