The Applications of calculus in Exponential growth/decay In Industrial Engineering

Mathematics has always been the core subject in every field of engineering. Without this we are not able to understand all results of the technology research. The existance of engineering is only due to mathematics. Calculus is the branch of mathematics which helps in every field of engineering to grasp all the basic to advanced concepts. There are different approaches to solve problems in engineering i.e., quantitively and qualitatively. Mathematics also helps solving complex problems quantitively.

 This paper shows how calculus is helpful for us in Industrial Engineering. Calculus is used in industrial engineering manufacturing, safety of components or operation research and many others. The question arise how calculus helps with exponential growth and decay in industrial engineering.
