Autosomal Recessive Disorders

     My task for this project was to calculate and showcase the inheritance of an autosomal disorder, given that both of the parents are carriers of this disorder. I created model family pedigree charts, as well as punnett squares, to solve for and express all possible outcomes, given varying scenarios, of inheriting this disorder based on family history. I concluded that the probability of being a carrier for the disorder, or inheriting the disorder itself, is greater than not being affected, and not inheriting the altered gene of the disorder.
