by Aeron Biwang

Submitted : Fall 2020

The project is a data collection analysis regarding the current COVID-19 disease in Japan. With data collected from the World Health Organization, multiple variables such as cumulative active cases, recovery cases, and new daily cases, a prediction model was created utilized multiple linear regression applications in correspondence with matrices. The objective of the paper was to find if the oncoming rate of cases were to be matched with recovery cases to ideally indicate reassurance and safety. Results from the data analyzed did show that despite another spike within the country, applied rules and regulations held up to standard resulting in higher recovery rates to combat the new cases.
