Using the data on the fish population in the pond, we are able to determine the population of the fishes and how long it takes for the population to double. By the data given to us, we are able to integrate the doubling time formula into the exponential  growth formula. This was done in order to figure out how long we will have to wait to be able to fish once a certain population is reached.
