The concept of spacetime delineates a mathematical model in which the three dimensions of space and one dimension of time are agglutinated into one four-dimensional manifold. A black hole encompasses a segment of spacetime in which gravity is exceedingly vigorous; this proliferation of gravity is the genesis of how no particles or electromagnetic variation can evade the black hole.  The following paper examines black holes through calculus-based equations; the primary objective of this paper is to engender an analysis of black holes through the utilization of Einstein field equations’ solution, particularly the Schwarzschild solution. The Schwarzschild metric provides the geometry of spacetime corresponding the exterior of a black hole. The following paper utilizes the Schwarzschild metric to attain the deflection angle to allow for understanding of gravitational lensing near black holes.
