Year of COVID-19 Population Growth Rate

The topic of my project was to use birth and death rate to determine what the population growth rate might be during the events of the coronavirus during 2020 worldwide. To do this I used a differential equation using both birth and death rate proportional to population size and record the population size of the very beginning of the year 2020 to the present. By using this differential equation and finding the integral, I was able to find a solution that would also represent the population size after the beginning of 2020 in months. By utilizing calculus, I was able to find a more precise representation of the population growth rate for 2020; however used in a larger scale, one could also see the exponential growth in the world if the death rates remain steady during the events of the coronavirus.
