Hyperelastic Bone Involving the Washer Method

by Kristin Jones

Submitted : Spring 2020

The analysis involves research behind hyperelastic bone, a new medical material that can be 3D printed. The material has elastic and regenerative properties. Hyperelastic bone is compared to older implant techniques and technologies to show the difference in cost and effectiveness. Calculus is also included in the analysis to create an irregular cylindrical shape that can be 3D printed using hyperelastic bone in the hopes that it will help in healing a long bone fracture.
