Mathematical modeling for Energy Production

by Deniz Kosetorunu

Submitted : Fall 2019

The objective of this study is to identify how the production of electric and gas utilities changes with time in order to use the findings in improving the efficiency as well as the future development of energy production. The data set was employed in fulfilling this objective was the energy production data from Kaggle repository with the two variables date and energy production. The average yearly production was used in building the differential equation.

According to the fitted differential equation model, the limitation of the industrial production of the electric and gas utilities in United States is 576.667. This implies that the United States still can achieve big continuous growth in gas and electric production industry.
