Tron lines analysis

This problem consists of how certain theme parks, in this case Disney, manage to distribute in the most efficient way the park attendees in certain attractions. When making a line to go on a certain ride there are three types of passengers: the FastPass rider, riders of parties of two or more, and lastly single riders. In the case of the attraction TRON, each wagon can hold up to 14 people; FastPass riders and riders of parties of two or more a fitted into the wagon as their turn comes, but to make the wait time the shortest possible, each wagon should be filled to its maximum capacity of fourteen, which becomes a problem when there are uneven parties of people fitted. To fill the single or various empty seats left in the wagon, the worker chooses a rider from the single rider category, maximizing the space in the cart.

            Because most people that attend Disney go in parties of two or more, the single rider’s line is usually not nearly as long as the other two types of rider’s lines. The ideal number of single passengers to have available every time an empty wagon comes to be filled is two. The attraction is designed to have an empty cart every two minutes, which means that that every two minutes at least two single riders should be available. It can be determined what is the probability that that there is always the least number of single riders suggested between the arrival times of each wagon, by creating a function that correctly represents the situation.
