When joining the workforce after becoming an engineer, you have the option of working for construction companies to theme parks. In this scenario the engineer will be taking on a task to find the moment of inertia of a fan blade. The company the engineer works for is a commercial air conditioning company, installing multimillion-dollar air handlers and equipment on projects around the city.  This task is given to the engineer because the company wants to make sure they are picking the right fan to maximize efficiency and in the long run save money. By calculating the moment of inertia, you are able to find its efficiency.
