Determining the Probability for an Attraction’s System Failure

by Tomas Cordeiro

Submitted : Fall 2019

In the common world, engineers are required in most areas to overcome certain problems and come up with designs that aid in facilitating certain processes. In this paper, the main area is the design of a new attraction in the world famous Magic Kingdom. In this new attraction, which has many twists and turns that are supported by a system that has a probability of failing after many years. The main idea behind my research is to determine using the  probability density function, the likeliness that this system will fail before the attraction reaches its desired life span of 50 years.
