Relationship Between Arrow Trajectory and Shooting Angle

Submitted : Fall 2019

At 25 degrees Celsius, the archer fired at a height of one meter above the horizontal. Suppose you use a 60 pound black swan archery recurve bow with an initial velocity of about 247.5 ft / s (75.43800 m / s). The weight of the arrow is about 360 grain 100 meters away, 1 meter from the ground? Consider air resistance and ignore wind direction variables.

This project uses an Excel spreadsheet solver and a guess and check method to determine the angle value above the horizontal plane, which will cause the arrow to hit the center of the target.
