In the broadest sense my research interest is
the holistic approach to the role of water-rock interaction
within the system Earth, using chemical, biological, hydrogeological,
mineralogical, mathematical, thermodynamic and engineering
approaches.
Center for Water Analysis
The USF Center for Water and Environmental Analysis specializes
in the determination of inorganic ions in complex water samples
and the chemical composition of environmental and geological
samples (e.g., soil, sludge and rocks).
Biocomplexity
Workgroup
The biocomplexity work group is a group of geologists,
geochemists and biologists from the University of South Florida
and Washington University in St. Louis. We are currently funded
through a NSF BE:CBC grant to study the effect of elevated arsenic
concentrations on an ecosysem.
